Nil kms, unbelivably hot
Arising not at my liesure but due to the heat. I brewed a coffee and heated some oats. The Polish guy and his wife were heading into Bellevue so I grabbed a lift.
In town I made a few calls, had breakfast at a cafe and sorted thejournal some more, then sauntered around to the library and did further electronic chores and made up some basic cards to give to people.
Later in the day I had more chicken at Richmans and then hitched back to camp, the local sheriff offered to give me a lift if I was still there when he had finished his meal. I made up a sign and was picked up in 10 minutes.
A light at the boat ramp was the focal point for thousands of fish flies, they were at least 75mm deep on the ground under the light. About 2130hrs and slipped into the nest literally in a pool of sweat, there was no escaping this heat. Seep came at some ridiculous hour.
